PROJECTS OPTIONS
Grand Tanzanian Love projects can be really different from what you experienced in your home country. It can be really interesting for interns and volunteers to experience new challenges career wise.
Health
In Tanzania health workers to population ratios is small,

There is always a shortage of teachers. Volunteers are desperately needed to help poorer schools meet the needs of the students.

WHERE TO STAY
Throughout your volunteering/ internship program you will stay in GRAND TANZANIAN LOVE volunteer houses or host family.
Volunteer houses
Our volunteer houses offers utmost comfort and bedrooms are typically shared, so if you would like a single room be sure to make a special request .
Host family
We have carefully picked host families and these families have superb experience in hosting volunteers. In host family you will in your own room.
Hostels
Constructions of GTL hostels is underway, upon its completion we will be able to place a large group volunteers especially teens at one place.

This is our approach: training and support are essential components for a successful volunteers experience,our programs are most effective when participants first take the time to learn about the Tanzania cultures.
Arusha region is more beloved by those who have visited, a rich cultural heritage, and scenic beauty defy the imagination. However volunteers can pick other destination: Kilimanjaro and Mwanza.

Destination
Arusha
Arusha region is more beloved by those who have visited. Arusha is the perfect place for your volunteering opportunities. We have a set of our own programs also GTL partners with many organizations in Arusha to create diverse volunteer opportunities.
Kilimanjaro
GTL provides different volunteering programs Kilimanjaro region also we have partnered with various institution in Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro Region is a home to Kilimanjaro and Mkomazi National Parks also is home to Mount Kilimanjaro.
Mwanza
GTL offers a number of volunteer programs in both: government institutions and private companies, you will get a chance to work with one of the oldest medical institutions: Bugando. GTL also offers various volunteering programs in Mwanza.
TOURS & SAFARIS
Grand Tanzanian Love is not a Tour company. . Customarily there are Tour Operators who take care of GTL volunteers with interest in Mountain climbing, Safaris, Lodges and camping. It can be during weekends, after program completion or at any point of time when project is underway.

I spent 6 weeks in Moshi at KCMC Hospital for my internship program and the remaining 2 weeks at Meru Hospital - Arusha.
